Club meetings are held weekly during race season every Tuesday at 7pm in the Moultonborough Academy cafeteria. Meeting minutes will be posted here after each meeting for racers to stay up to date on club announcements and decisions.
1/28 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Pit steward (Matt Taylor) has FINAL SAY in pits, this includes determining who enters the track and when. Pit Steward (Matt Taylor) will check all drivers’ radios in line-up. The designated gate person will remain at the gate until intermission. Next race - 2/1 - Jack Cook Memorial Race, 2/2 will be a normal Sunday race Racing will start at 11am on 2/1, all racers will do a pace lap in Jack’s honor. Details for pace lap will be discussed in pit meeting at 10:30 *Next meeting will be on 2/4 at 7pm in the Moultonborough Academy Cafeteria
2/4 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Races will be broadcasted on radio channel 89.9 moving forward Due to low racecar count in other divisions, Stock class will run extended features indefinitely, lap count TBD day of race. In search of: photographer for Latchkey race on 2/15, and a venue for an end of season banquet in April. Anyone with ideas can contact a board member. 2/11 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Pond will be determined for Latchkey at 4pm on Friday, 2/14 Trevor Greene has been assigned as lead plow guy, message a board member or the club facebook to be added to the plowing group chat to volunteer for future races and track preps.
2/18 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Plowing Lee Pond on 2/20 at 1pm prior to Sunday’s race. Still looking for a venue for an end of season banquet.
3/4 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Banquet will be held May 3 from 6-9PM at the Moultonborough Function Hall (previously known as Moultonborough Lions Club). Magic Foods will cater and bartend. Still need to find a DJ for the banquet. Tickets will be $50/person and available for purchase at any upcoming meeting. Raffle donations for the banquet are graciously accepted.
3/11 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Motion passed to close season 3/15 Elections and Bi-laws and safety rules meeting will be held 3/18, Class rules meeting will be held the following week, 3/26. There will be driver awards voted on at the banquet, only registered club members will be able to vote. Tickets are still available for purchase at any meeting, raffle donations are still accepted.
3/18 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Cody Burns and Matt Taylor finished their terms as board members, Matt Burns was voted as new board member and Matt Taylor was re-elected. Revised Bi-Laws and Safety Rules, please see “Rules” page for any changes. Next meeting, 3/25, will be the class rules meeting.
3/25 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: Revised class rules for 2026 season, please see “Rules” page for any changes. In the fall, prior to the upcoming race season, revisit getting trophies for each race. Banquet: Ages 8 and under will have free entry.
4/8 Meeting Minutes
Key Topics: 4/15 meeting (next week): Revisit Bi-Law #42 regarding the Lakes Region Ice Racing Club being a chain-only club for normal race days (no studs). Voted on the Sonny Ambrose award winner as a club, the winner will be announced at the banquet on 5/3. Banquet tickets are still available for purchase at meetings.
